This policy explains how cancelling and refunds work for Featherweight Dictation, a service of Mockello. It is part of our Terms of Service, section 6.
Free trial
The free trial lasts 5 days or 3,000 words, whichever ends first. It needs no payment card, and it never turns into a paid plan by itself: nothing is charged unless you choose to subscribe.
Cancelling the unlimited plan
The unlimited plan costs $5 a month and renews every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time:
- from your account page, with Cancel subscription; or
- by emailing info@featherweightsoftware.com.
When you cancel, you keep unlimited dictation until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
Refunds
Except as required by applicable law or as stated at checkout, payments are final and non-refundable once your paid access begins. This does not limit your rights under applicable consumer protection law, including the Indian Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and its rules, or rights relating to deficient services, unfair trade practices or faulty digital content.
If something went wrong with a payment, such as a charge you don't recognise, write to info@featherweightsoftware.com and we'll look into it. A refund we make goes back to the payment method you used.
Failed payments and chargebacks
If a renewal payment fails, we may pause unlimited dictation after giving any notice the law requires. Before starting a chargeback, please email info@featherweightsoftware.com so we can try to fix the problem.
